Marketing privacy notice (business-to-business)

If you received an email from Callkept about your business's website and enquiry handling, this notice explains why.

Why you were contacted

Your business appeared in public sources (OpenStreetMap, Companies House, your own website) as an incorporated UK company operating in a trade we serve. Our automated auditor looked at your public website and found specific, observable issues in how inbound enquiries are handled. We emailed a business role address (e.g. info@) to share those findings and offer a relevant service.

Lawful basis

Legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), supported by a documented Legitimate Interests Assessment. Under PECR we contact corporate subscribers only (companies, PLCs and LLPs); we automatically exclude sole traders, non-LLP partnerships and any address we can't verify as corporate.

What we hold

Business name, website, company number and status, a public role email, and our audit observations. We do not buy lists, scrape sites that prohibit it, or use named-employee data for outreach.

Limits

At most three emails; we stop on any reply, bounce or opt-out. Never phone or SMS marketing.

Opt out

Use the unsubscribe link in any email or write to callkept@maib.io. We keep your address on a permanent suppression list so it is never re-added.

Retention

Prospect records are deleted 12 months after collection unless you engage with us.
